Lie Detector Test for an Athlete
Lie Detector Test for an athlete
On Tuesday evening I ran a lie detector test on a professional swimmer called Rishi. He originally approached Lie Detectors UK a few weeks ago and we had a discussion on why he needed to take a test and what he was looking to gain from it, initially I thought the request strange but on reflection understood and saw the bigger picture.
Rishi wished to prove that during a certain time frame he had swum over 750 miles whilst he was in training, he told me he swum a minimum of three days a week for 6 hours a time and had logged his sessions and the lengths he had swum. He wished to take a lie detector test to prove he had swum 750 miles to show potential sponsors his ability and commitment as he starts his training again. Rishi did very well and everyone at Lie Detectors UK wish him the very best in his swimming career.
Tests we usually run for professional athletes often revolve around the use of illegal drugs or banned drugs whilst in competition. In the UK there are some professional federations that use the lie detector and our services as a deterrent, its mandatory for the World Natural Bodybuilding Competition for all competitors to take a polygraph test
Whilst the client is nearly always right we also like to ensure every test we run is ethical and morally right. We have had clients wishing to be tested on bizarre things and even looking to set partners up to fail a test with questions that do not work on a lie detector test. To this end we always talk to every potential client before we take a booking and explain the process and answer any questions that they may have.
